Royal Caribbean Important Notice

As promised, here’s your update for our Spectrum of the Seas, October 8th, 2023 sailing.

Along with our Chief Meteorologist, Craig Setzer, we continue to monitor the development of Typhoon Koinu along our route.

To ensure we have a safe and comfortable journey, and after exploring all our options, we’ll now visit Hong Kong, China on Monday, October 9th, 2023, instead of Sunday, October 8th, 2023. As a result, we’ll need to skip our visit to Ho Chi Minh (Phu My), Vietnam and we’ll now enjoy a Sea Day instead. We’re terribly sorry for the unexpected change, nonetheless, your safety is always our highest priority.

Boarding Time

Boarding time for 09 October 2023 will be 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Shore Excursions

Any pre-paid Royal Caribbean International shore excursions for Ho Chi Minh (Phu My) will automatically be refunded as an Onboard Credit to your SeaPass account. These credits can be used anywhere onboard the ship. Any remaining, refundable amounts at the end of our sailing will be reimbursed to your card on file registered with the ship.

Compensation

For those coming from oversea who require an additional one night hotel accommodations, we will reimburse up to $200 USD per night, per stateroom. Please email your hotel receipts and booking information to [email protected] for review and reimbursement. Since your sailing will be shortened by one day, we’ll be providing you with compensation in the form of an Onboard Credit on your SeaPass account - details to be provided shortly. These credits can be used anywhere onboard the ship.

Any guests that purchased a visa for Vietnam will have a USD$25 credit as a goodwill gesture reimbursed via Onboard Credit to their Seapass account.
